About

My name is Erin, and I’ve struggled with weight loss my entire life. I’ve read every weight loss book I could get my hands on, joined countless diet plans and hopped on every fitness program imaginable.

In the end, what worked for me was focusing on the basics and finding a group of people that can support each other through our goals. That’s what we are hoping to create here!

Basics

Starting with these seven weight loss basics has really worked for me. Those are:

  1. Be sure to eat a high-protein breakfast.
  2. Drink water before every meal.
  3. Avoid sugar and starches, especially sugary drinks.
  4. Get at least 7 hours of sleep when possible.
  5. Find ways to get lean proteins and vegetables into any meal you can.
  6. Stay active every day.
  7. Get an accountability partner or group!
